BUCS ROUND UP: UoN Record Second Clean Sweep of Victories in a Row

University of Nottingham Futsal continued with their BUCS fixtures at Sutton Bonington campus on Sunday, recording three victories across the board.


The 2s faced their biggest threat thus far in the BUCS campaign. University of Lincoln Futsal 2s were tied on points with the 2s before Sunday’s encounter, but after an 11-2 victory, University of Nottingham 2s took a firm hold on top spot, having scored an astonishing 32 goals in their first 3 matches.


The 3s were looking to build on their first victory last time out. A good team performance against Worcester 2s, saw them win 9-5. The win sees them hold joint top of the table.


The 4s entertained a top Nottingham Trent 3s side, in what was a tense affair. The 4s delivered a highly professional performance, running out 4-3 winners, taking all 3 points, and solidifying their place at the top of the league.

These results see University of Nottingham Futsal take 34 points from a possible 36 across all club fixtures so fa;, BUCS and National League, further cementing the positive changes in recent months and culture at the club.
