University of Nottingham Futsal welcome Durham Futsal Club to the David Ross Sports Village on Sunday in a highly competitive FA National Futsal League fixture with both teams contending to win the league.

University of Nottingham currently sit top of the league and will be hoping to maintain their position going into 2018. However, with both teams not dropping points so far, Durham will be keen to give them self an advantage over the home team in the race for the title.

We spoke to Head of Performance, Marc Forrest who gave his thoughts ahead of Sunday: “No question Sunday is going to be a highly competitive game, an important game but we have to embrace the challenge and as a group apply ourselves in the right manner. I know Chris well who is doing a fantastic job at Durham and familiar with a number of their players so we are under no illusion that it will be competitive game. However we will be focused on doing all we can to execute and perform the best we can to win”
